SleepYou ("SleepYou," "we," "us," or "our") operates the SleepYou mobile application and the website at https://sleepyou.top (together, the "Service"). SleepYou is a privacy-first sleep coach that keeps core sleep tracking on your device and only moves data when you ask it to.

By using the Service, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1) Information We Collect
- Sleep and usage data (on-device by default): sleep duration and stages, motion patterns, smart alarm settings, snoring detection levels (no raw audio), notes or tags you add, and in-app preferences. This stays on your device unless you export, share specific sessions, or enable optional encrypted backup.
- Account information (optional): email address and name (optional) if you create an account for Premium features or backup. Passwords are encrypted/hashed.
- Payments and subscriptions: payments are processed by Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or Stripe. We receive transaction confirmations, subscription status, and limited billing metadata—never full card numbers or bank details.
- Support and communications: messages you send to bartzalewskidev@gmail.com and related correspondence, plus your preferences for receiving product updates.
- Website data: essential cookies, IP address, device/browser info, referrers, and aggregate analytics about page visits on sleepyou.top. We do not run cross-site advertising trackers.

2) How We Use Information
- Provide and improve the Service, including sleep analysis, AI coaching, smart alarms, and in-app recommendations.
- Operate accounts and subscriptions, process payments, and send service or transactional emails.
- Provide customer support and troubleshoot issues.
- Maintain security, prevent abuse, and comply with legal requirements.

3) Where and How Data Is Stored
- On-device by default: sleep data is stored locally and processed on your device.
- Optional encrypted backup: if you enable cloud backup, your sleep data is encrypted end-to-end before leaving your device. You can disable backup or request deletion at any time; we will delete encrypted copies within 30 days.
- Exports and sharing: you control manual exports or sharing of specific sessions.
- Website analytics and logs: retained for up to 24 months, then deleted or aggregated.

4) Sharing and Disclosure
- We do not sell personal data or sleep data.
- Service providers: we use trusted vendors for payment processing (Apple, Google, Stripe), email delivery, optional backup hosting, and analytics. They may only use data to perform services for us.
- Legal: we may disclose information to comply with law, protect our rights, or address security issues.

5) Your Choices and Rights
- No account required: core features work without an account.
- Permissions: you can manage microphone (for snoring detection), motion/fitness sensors, notifications, and other device permissions at any time.
- Access and export: view your sleep history in-app and export data when available.
- Deletion: delete sessions locally, clear backups by disabling backup, or request account deletion at bartzalewskidev@gmail.com. Account data and backups are deleted within 30 days; uninstalling the app removes local data from your device.
- Marketing opt-out: you can opt out of non-essential product emails.

6) Children's Privacy
SleepYou is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. Contact us if you believe a child has provided data.

7) Changes to This Policy
We will post updates on this page and notify you via email or in-app notice for material changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
